Students, advisers, and guests must follow the mandatory Convention dress code. The dress code is included in this packet. Government officials and school board members will be in attendance! Students, advisers, and guests not in dress code will not be permitted to attend the sessions.
Official dress consists of:
• Red blazer - FCCLA patch on the lower left pocket
• Black skirt or slacks
• White button-down shirt
• Coordinating tie OR
• Black Sheath Dress with Single Strand Pearls
• Black closed toe dress shoes
OR
Mandatory meeting attire:
• Red, black, or white polo or oxford shirt (long or short sleeves)
• Black dress slacks/pants/capris (no shorts or leggings)
• Black skirts/dresses – no shorter than 2 inches above the knee
• Jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear are NOT acceptable
Advisers/ Chaperones/ Guests
• Business professional
• Jeans, jean capris, t-shirts, athletic wear are NOT acceptable
STAR EVENT PARTICIPANTS
Top 3 State STAR Events participants who will be recognized on stage must be in official dress. Exception: Culinary Arts participants are welcome to wear their chef’s attire during the STAR Events Medal Session.
COURTESY CORPS MEMBERS
Courtesy Corps members must be in official dress. You will receive the courtesy corps armband when you check in.
VOTING DELEGATES
Voting delegates must be in official dress. They must also have the voting delegate ribbon attached to their nametag.
