Creating Brighter Futures for Oklahoma Foster Kids
Citizens Caring for Children is excited to partner with Oklahoma FCCLA as the State Outreach Project for 2021 - 2023! Citizens Caring for Children provides basic necessities, resources, and support to Oklahoma foster kids.
The Oklahoma Alumni & Associates student scholarship was established to provide financial aid to academically promising FCCLA members who will be pursuing post-secondary education.
One award will be made to the officer category, and one award will be given in the non-officer category.
15 grants will be given to chapters completing a Families First National Program project. Each grant is $350. Click here to apply!
The Wanda S. Holman Memorial Adviser Scholarship was established in memory of Wanda Sue Holman, a member of the Oklahoma Alumni & Associates. Wanda was able to attend several national FCCLA conferences and she believed that all advisers would benefit from such experiences. The $750 scholarship is designed to offset the cost of attending the FCCLA National Leadership Conference. It will be awarded to a current Oklahoma FCCLA Adviser who exhibits outstanding leadership and community service involvement.
The $500 award will be presented to a current Family and Consumer Sciences teacher. The teacher will show how they integrate FCCLA into the FCS curriculum.
FCCLA members are strongly encouraged to apply for these scholarship opportunities. Click image above to see Oklahoma FCCLA Scholarship Opportunities.
